Hideaki Ohgaki is a Professor affiliated with the Institute of Advanced Energy at Kyoto University in Kyoto, Japan. He received his D.Eng. degree in radiation measurement from Kyushu University in 1988. Dr. Ohgaki's research focuses on electron accelerators, quantum radiations (including free electron lasers and laser-Compton backscattering photons), and radiation measurement. His passion for new and renewable energy solutions drives his interest in their implementation for sustainable development in ASEAN. Dr. Ohgaki's contributions to the scientific community are extensive, with a remarkable publication record. He has authored over 200 internationally reviewed papers and more than 150 international conference proceedings papers. Additionally, his innovative research has led to the filing of 15 patents. His expertise and reputation have earned him numerous invitations to deliver lectures and keynote speeches, totaling 76 invite/plenary lectures to date. As a Professor, Dr. Ohgaki continues to advance knowledge and innovation in the fields of electron accelerators, quantum radiation, and radiation measurement. His work plays a vital role in pushing the boundaries of scientific understanding and promoting sustainable energy solutions.

Professor Eng Gee Lim received the BEng(Hons) and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the UK. Prof. Lim worked for Andrew Ltd, a leading communications systems company in the United Kingdom from 2002 to 2007. Since August 2007, Prof. Lim has been at Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University, where he was formally the head of EEE department and University Dean of Research and Graduate studies. Now, he is inaugural School Dean of Advanced Technology, inaugural director of AI university research centre and also professor in department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He has published over 200 refereed international journals and conference papers. His research interests are Artificial Intelligence, robotics, AI+ Health care, Future Education, Management in Higher Education, international Standard (ISO/ IEC) in Robotics, antennas, RF/microwave engineering, EM measurements/simulations, energy harvesting, power/energy transfer, smart-grid communication; wireless communication networks for smart and green cities. He is a charter engineer and Fellow of both IET and Engineers Australia. In addition, he is also a senior member of IEEE and Senior Fellow of HEA.
